I never make resolutions. I always make goals. But, this year my brother had a better idea: Make a New Year's Theme! His is health and wellness, mentally and physically. And, well, I think it's a great idea, but I can't really think of a theme.

I've thought about turning my Type A personality around, but I think that is near impossible.

I've thought about trying to be a little messier because I'm sure Troy would like it if I'm little less of a neat freak, but I think that one will just come out of sheer necessity (necessity of not killing my less than neat husband).

I've thought about carrying a budget theme...seeing how much I could save, bargain shop, etc but then that one just sounds more difficult than I have the time for.

I really thought about a Mexican theme complete with margaritas for breakfast...but still sounds like a good idea.

So, I think I'm going to just settle on the "less is more" theme. As in, less housework means more time with Troy. Or less minutes on my 5k time means more hardware to decorate my desk with. Less poundage on my body means more time that I'll want to wear a swimsuit this summer. Less stress means more years that I get to live (because it was just posted on my Facebook "Type A personality" group that Type A's tend to have myocardial infractions at a higher rate than other personality types. Not sure what that is but it sounds scary).

Yes, Less is More sounds great to me!

Now, let's see if I can start the theme tonight...right....

I'll be posting my race schedule on the left hand sidebar in the next day or two, as well.

Hope everyone has a safe and Happy New Year!
