Yesterday I met with the Mercer Run group and actually finished the entire loop that they run. Normally I'm so slow that I just run out and back for 3, rather than finishing the entire 4.75. I was still slow, but decided that there is no reason I should be running just 3 miles anymore, so I finished the entire thing. So, I'm up to 8.75 miles for the week, which is an October record in my books. I plan on running 3 more times this week, to include the Sunday loop (12 miles) to round out the week at 28 miles. Yes, another record.
I'm glad I'm back to this running thing. I can't believe how much I've missed it.
