December 10, 2007

According to Breaking the Tape (see sidebar...I'm too lazy to use links today), last week was the first time I've broken 20 miles in a week since the week of VALENTINES DAY.

I can't believe it's been that long ago....

And it also looks like I'll be breaking 1,000 lifetime miles by the end of 2007. I've got about 50 to go, and I'll get half of that out of the way this week.

Guess it looks like those weeks of sub-20 milers are over.

And I couldn't be more happier! It seems so easy now to get my lazy caboose out of bed on Sunday morning and go run. Guess it makes it easy when you've been kicked out of church too.

I think I'll be more than ready for the all the races I've signed up for next January, February, and March...I need to get those links over there, but I'm having a case of not-wanting-to-linkitis today so it will have to wait until later.

But just in case you were dying to know (and no, I'm not spilling the church story) these are the races I've signed up for:

Museum of Aviation 1/2 marathon, January 19
Mercedes 1/2 marathon (Jim, tell your mom to get those pancakes ready), February 10
Snicker Marathon (yes the whole thing), March 1
GA ING Marathon (yes I've heard how bad it is and I'm still running the whole thing), March 31

So far that's it for January through March...but isn't that enough???? Yeah, that's what I thought.

Have a great week (and keep your fingers crossed that I OVER THIS COLD!)

1000 miles!, what time you've had.

Thanks for the kind words on my blog.

Looks like we will be running a few of the same races.

I am going to run the "Run the Reagan" on Feb 16. This is a local race in Gwinnet county, you might want to take a look.

Congrats on hitting the mileage milestones! Quite an accomplishment!

Impressive lineup of races there. Best of luck!

I hope that the time is why we respect all the training in order to reach all those strong runs, you say that few, we would surely anger finding other interesting races, a greeting.

That's an ambitious race schedule, especially for someone who's apparently lost a little leverage in her house of worship! :-)
