This One's For You Big Guy

Alright, so "Big Guy" is not typically what he likes to be called...but tonight I did what most bloggers don't even dream in their scariest of scary nightmares doing...I showed my blog to my parents. I even bookmarked it on their computer (remember earlier when I said I was crazy???), although I am certain that I will get a call soon from dear ole' Dad asking me where that bookmark is. That's okay with me though. But, it means that now I HAVE to maintain a PG rating. Dangit. And just when I thought I *might* think of something good to say. It also means that at some point I've got to go back and re-read all of my other posts to make sure that I didn't say anything bad about anyone. Big DANGIT.

Or, I could just post a disclaimer that nothing in this blog can be used against me in the house of Galebonzobeans (not really our last name, but sure close!) so long as I shall live. And really I can only think of one time that I said anything negative and that was when *hello* everyone forgot my 30th birthday. So, I felt like everyone deserved whatever I had to say. And I don't feel that way anymore, so let's just stop talking about it.

Because truth be told: my parents may not be perfect, but they have the best I could have ever asked for. Sure, they didn't do everything right, but who does? We wouldn't have any examples to learn from if they did everything right the first time, right? And they've been married for over 40 years, which is a huge feat and worthy of any praise thrown their way.

So, there you have it. T-roi's future father-in-law, red wine stain and all :)

I was laughing as I read this! My mom and dad read my blog rain or shine. I have received more emails and calls with advice, warnings and inquiries. I do try to keep it clean.

So we probably shouldn't mention that other very dark secret matter that you post about...
