Promises to Me

I promise to catch up on all the blogs I normally read (cause I feel totally guilty about that).
I promise to stop feeling guilty.
I promise to start getting up at 4am to get those runs in.
I promise to lift weights at least 3 times a week.
I promise to stop making excuses.
I promise to stop worrying about the trivial stuff.
I promise to stop saying “I’m stressed out”.
I promise to laugh often and smile even more.
I promise to stop stealing other people’s clich├ęs.
I promise to eat right and stop getting cookies with my lunch at McAlisters.
I promise to stop being regretful.
I promise to stop spending money when it’s unnecessary.
I promise to stop making excuses for every one else.
I promise to not make plans more than one day out.
I promise to start studying for part 2 of the cdfm exam.
I promise to call my friends more often. Or at the very least call them back before they make a second attempt at me.
I promise to be thankful for what I’ve got and stop mourning over what I don’t.
I promise to stop feeling like I have to belong to every charitable organization/event/shindig.
I promise to start telling people “Man, sounds like you’ll have a busy weekend moving…” and then walk away without ever volunteering to help.
I promise at the end of the year to throw my organizer away and go back to just making lists. The organizer has stressed me out (violation of promise 6.) way more than the lists ever did.
I promise to read my magazines the week that they come in the mail.

I promise all of these things. And promise to start doing them (or not) this weekend. I promise.

Dang I hate blogger just wiped out my comment. Anyway what I said was what are your goals? You have a bunch of awesome promises but where are they headed? I hope they all work out for you.
