Happy 100th Post!!!!!

I noticed when I logged in that this will be my 100th post. How exciting! And how equally sad that this has made my day :)

Hopefully this will be the last update about the gym, but it seems that I have started some broohaha over this and now there is a counter blog titled Kinetix Fanatic. It is an obvious attempt by an employee to salvage what has happened. Maybe even a feeble attempt by the personal trainer (ex, I hope) to get his job back. At any rate, I have officially lost my bid for Junior League President by starting all this commotion in our quaint little town....

On to bigger and better my birthday. Yes, I will be turning the big 3-0 this weekend, and am excited that I will be entering my thirties with all my original parts...well, except for those 2 wisdom teeth. Troy was going to have a big party for me...something along the lines of "My Super Sweet 16" (Click here). There was a whole host of celebs that really really wanted to come, including Jessica Simpson...but I told him with my broken foot I just really wasn't up for all that. If I'm going to let them come and hang out with me I want to be in party mode...and well, I'm not so much right now. So, I told him to hold off until next year for "My Super Sweet 31" (because I mean, c'mon with me all my birthdays are super sweet). Besides that I hear that that guy who is making his debute in Superman Returns is pretty maybe he'll get the invite for next year.

So, you must be asking yourself "what exactly are you going to do then??" Well, thanks for asking. But I don't really know. When he asked, I said go to the beach because I don't need my other foot to lay on the beach and drink mojitos. So, he, in true perfect boyfriend style, tried to get us reservations at a B&B in Savannah but that fell through...what exactly is going on down there that everything is booked this weekend?...oh, that's's called any rate, he called this afternoon to tell me that we were going to a beach, staying in a b&b where we could go flat water kayaking, tandem cycling (how fun!), and other such lazy beach bum activities. It's not in GA but still close enough to not take all day to get there. That was all the info I got. And that is all the info that I am getting.

I love surprises and I rarely rarely rarely get them! There is also a present sitting downstairs but I can't figure out what it is. It is light like a shirt or some article of clothing but when I shake it, there is no rustle (sp) of tissue paper, a typical characteristic of the shirt box wrapped. What do you think?

On the running front, I have been reading up alot about my injury, and more importantly my recovery time. The non-hot ortho said that it will be 6 weeks before I can start running again and would talk to me about it more later. From what I've read, it looks like I'll probably be doing the run/walk thing again until I can build up strength...possibly 7-13 weeks after he lets me start running again. Yikes! That is along time. That puts me around mid-September to mid-October depending on well I healed before I can start "training" I said, that is along time. But that still doesn't preclude me from running Disney so I'm still happy.

At this point, I will be happy when I don't have to wear this space boot anymore!

lori and i got a kick out of all the fallout you caused from the gym blogging. serves 'em right for saying that one person can't make a difference.

have a very happy birthday, and enjoy yourself this weekend!
