No More Excuses

I've got to get serious. Today is my day. I made my "to do" list last night and I'm sticking to it. No more excuses. If it interferes with my training, then it ain't gonna get down. End of story.

I will be registering for the Rock n Roll Marathon in San Diego this weekend. I think that will help me to stop making excuses and start telling people no.

On another note, I found out last night that our local running club runs the torch in for the Relay For Life in May. Someone said they think that they run a half to the fairgrounds where the Relay is. That's cool. I belong to that running club. I also volunteered myself to be the accounting chairperson. I.e., I won't be doing any running for that relay except to collect hundreds of thousands of dollars for cancer research. I'll take that trade off. This year anyway.

YAY!! you're doing the RNR san diego TOO!! this is ridiculous. there are SO MANY RBFers running it. i need to start keeping track.

anyway. sound like youre on your way to "just enjoy"...

yeah its kinda hard to take a step back sometimes, but when you're in the middle of so much, like it sounds like you are, sometimes you just gotta say enough is enough, BREATHE, and kinda laugh a little.

it'll all work out!

and i hope your family members are doing better!!
