Doing the Turkey Dance

Okay, so I'm not's more like the turkey-run-and-hide thing. I'm going to T-squared mom's house for turkey festivities...wouldn't be so bad if it was just her cause i've already met her...but its the scary rest of the family that i'm nervous about...i'll just keep food in my face most of the day to avoid the dreaded questions:

What do you do for a living? accountant
Where do you work? Air Force
Where did you and T-squared meet? at a bar (not really, but I love the look when I say that...maybe I'll hold off on that one since its his fam and all)
How many brothers and sisters do you have? one brother, one sister...neither of which is quite as cool as I am
What religion are you? (we're in the south folks...) Presbyterian...that one was easy! give me some more!
What do you do in your spare time? run, watch food network, run, work, run, go to the gym, read, run some more

Maybe that's it....I'm nervous....

But I did get a run into today. I'm still keeping myself in check with just 3 miles to make sure I don't reinjure my knee and/or ankle. So far so good. I must say that I am absolutely in love with my shoes. I never knew that shoes (other than my birkenstocks) could be so comfortable! I'm just in heaven.

My book pick for the week: Fast Food Nation by Eric is a very interesting tale of how America has been shaped culturally and economically by the fast food industry. There is a ton of not-so-useless knowledge in there. FYI: did you know that Walt Disney and Ray Kroc grew up in the same small town and were friends???

Have a great Thanksgiving!

Have you seen Supersize Me? That movie made me never go to a fast food joint again! I now stay away from most processed food!
Wish I could run this weekend, got sick just in time for T-day!
